Safety Myths and Truths!

Many time when working with companies they have the need to tell you something that is not true we are sorry to say. Here at BESC we believe that providing the customer with just what they need makes for a returning client!

Each month we will post a new Safety Myth and Truth, to help you make the choice of working with a company or not. BESC is committed to providing you with any quotes, or information you would like to make the best informed choice.

BESC surely looks forward to working with you and gaining your business and trust!

This month we are focusing on the differences of American Heart Association and American Health and Safety Institute CPR programs (Is there really any), so here we go!

Every week we hear that an agency, business, or hospital can't take ASHI (American Health and Safety Institute) training for CPR training in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and more. We are provided with information that the training is not the same and does not meet ECC training standards, and many of times they tell us that ASHI instructors are not "certified"

Here's the news! ASHI CPR programs are and DO meet all ECC Standards, in fact they are accepted by many national boards on nursing, EMS, OSHA and more. ASHI instructors are certified by strict guidelines that meet all ECC standards and ASHI works hand in hand with the AHA in guidelines and teaching standards. ASHI maintains strict instructor policies and procedures in the issue of cards and programs, to make sure that customers receive the best in training. Training Centers are approved by ASHI and must meet audits for record keeping and classes.

The "only" difference in the classes are the presentation of the program. ASHI instructors pursue rigid hands on skills stations and student participation in lecture style power points and DVD instruction to students.

For more information please visit: and learn more of their standards and as well the many national boards they meet for training standards. You may contact our experienced team as well.

Every client, and customer receives nothing but the best in our CPR program, BESC remains committed long after your purchase from us in training, products, seminars, and education.
